With this insurance, the insurer covers the material losses that the insured's interests arising from motorized and non-motorized land vehicles, trailers or caravans, construction equipment, rubber-tired tractors and other agricultural machinery specified in the policy and permitted to be used on the highway may suffer directly as a result of the following risks.
a) Collision of the vehicle with motorized or non-motorized vehicles that can be used on the road or railway,
b) Accidents such as the vehicle being hit by a fixed or moving object, or the vehicle hitting such an object, overturning, falling or rolling, as a result of sudden and external effects beyond the will of the insured or the driver, whether in motion or at a standstill,
c) Damages caused by the actions of third parties with bad intentions or mischief, and by persons who do not have the capacity to act,
d) Vehicle burns,
e) Theft or attempted theft of the vehicle or vehicle parts
In casco insurance, coverage is provided under the following product names and contents;
Narrow Car Insurance: This is the product that provides coverage for some of the coverage groups above.
Car Insurance: It is the product that provides coverage for all of the above coverage groups.
Extended Car Insurance: This is the product that provides coverage for all of the above coverage groups and some of the risks that can be included in the coverage scope with an additional contract in these general conditions.
Full Insurance: This is the product that provides coverage for all of the above coverage groups and all risks that can be included in the coverage scope with an additional contract in these general conditions.
The policy title, whichever of the above products the content of the coverage applies to, will include the name of the product in question in letters of at least 16 points.
No expressions other than those specified in these General Terms regarding the scope of insurance coverage may be used in the policy. The names of the products sold must be compatible with the coverage provided.
The insurer is obliged to cover the claims regarding compensations specified in the general terms and conditions within the scope of the legal liability falling on the insured in accordance with the Highway Traffic Law No. 2918, due to the death or injury of third parties or damage to something during the operation of the motor vehicle defined in the policy, within the compulsory insurance coverage limits valid as of the date of the accident.
The scope of the insurance is limited to the compensation claims that third parties may claim from the insured within the scope of the insured's liability risk within the framework of the Highway Traffic Law.
Damages caused by trailers or semi-trailers (including light trailers) being towed or a towed vehicle are covered by the towing insurance. However, trailers used for transporting people are covered by the insurance provided that additional liability insurance is provided for these, the special conditions of which will be specified in the policy.
In order to prevent or reduce the damage in the event of an accident, the reasonable and necessary expenses incurred by the policyholder are covered by the insurer within the limits of the coverage. This insurance ensures the defense of the insured against unfair claims within the framework of the provision of Article B.2.4 of the general condition.
Personal accident insurance provides protection against the insured's death or permanent disability due to sudden and unexpected accidents during the insurance period.
The following situations are considered as accidents;
a) Inhalation of gases that spread suddenly and unexpectedly.
b) Injury, sprain and rupture of muscles and nerves due to burns and sudden movements.
c) Poisoning resulting from snake or insect bites.
d) Death or physical disabilities resulting from rabies resulting from the bite.
e) The insured person dies or suffers a physical disability outside his/her will due to a sudden and external event.
The following issues can be added to the policy as additional coverage;
a) Using and riding motorcycles and bicycles with outboard motors,
b) Deep sea fishing, hunting of wild animals such as herds and drifters, hunting of wild boars and other wild animals, and hunting in high mountains,
c) Mountaineering by climbing mountains and cliffs, all sports performed on snow or ice (such as skiing, skating, hockey and boxing); javelin game, horseback riding, polo, rugby, fencing, weightlifting, wrestling, boxing, basketball, football and sailing sports, heavy and dangerous gymnastic movements and professional sports movements,
d) All kinds of sports competitions and speed and endurance races,
e) Flying in the air as a person other than a passenger,
f) Earthquake, flood, volcanic eruption and landslide.
g) Interventions carried out by the competent authorities as a result of terrorist acts and sabotage specified in the Anti-Terror Law No. 3713 or to prevent such acts and reduce their effects.
The insurer covers the legal liability of the operator of the vehicle arising from the use of the vehicle whose information is given in the policy and in accordance with the Highway Traffic Law and its General Provisions, and the portion exceeding the limits of the Compulsory Financial Liability Insurance (Traffic Insurance) provided that it is within the scope of the policy coverage, within the coverage/s written in the policy.
In addition, this insurance also covers the policyholder's defense against unfair claims.
“Non-pecuniary Damages” risk can be added to the policy as additional coverage.
